Muir Woods/Beach/Overlook

Spring Break couldn't get here any faster if it meant a trip to Muir Woods. The following are photos from Muir Woods, Muir Beach, and an Overlook of Muir Beach.

A fallen tree and it's lower half completely enshrouded in moss.

A memorial put in place by the United Nations in 1945 commending Franklin Delano Roosevelt for his work in creating the UN. Members met here on May 12th, 1945 in Muir Woods on that day.

The view between 2 Redwood Trees in Muir Woods.

Fungi playing an essential role in the health of the forest by decomposing the fallen tree.

Another shutter delay of a creek. One of my personal favorites again.

Seed blossoms on a tree in Muir Woods. Similar to the Cottonwood, but not exact.
